A Nigerian woman was recently paraded by angry residents after she was allegedly caught stealing a Point of Sale (POS) machine along with other belongings at the busy Oja Oba market in Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State.
According to reports, the dramatic scene was captured on video and later uploaded to TikTok, where it quickly gained traction. In the footage, the woman’s face is visible as a crowd surrounds her, hurling accusations and verbal abuse.
A female voice can be heard in the background of the video, giving a narration of what allegedly transpired. She claims the suspect entered the market and stole a POS machine from one of the vendors.
