A Nigerian man, Olamide Omoregha, has openly praised his wife for her extraordinary strength and resilience during the birth of their child, highlighting the tough journey she went through.
In a heartfelt Facebook post shared on his timeline, Olamide recounted how his wife endured intense medical procedures, including two separate operations and over 50 drips and injections while she was admitted at the hospital.
He revealed that in addition to the surgeries and countless drips, his wife went through days of sleeplessness, had no food or water intake for five days straight, and had three different pipes inserted into her body to support her recovery process.
In his words;
“After the birth of my son on Saturday, my wife went through: 1. 2 Operations in a week 2. Over 50+ drips & injections 3. 3 Different pipes in her body 4. Sleepless nights 5. 4 major stitches on her body 6. No food & water for 5 days 7. Blood transfusions,” he wrote.
He added, “I don’t know what else I can use to appreciate this woman! She survived all! Lord, I thank you.”
Olamide also shared an emotional moment that brought him to tears. He said, “After my wife came out of the first operation, she just said, ‘Baby, Baby, tell me congratulations.’ Omo I burst tears o! Women are strong o.”
Sharing words of advice, he wrote, “Dear Married Men, One of the experiences that will make you love and respect your wife more is if you are involved in her 9-month pregnancy journey and delivery.”
