According to reports, the 19-year-old twin brothers, Qaadir and Naazir Lewis, who were residents of Lawrenceville, had been shot dead after they mysteriously disappeared on March 7, just one day before their planned trip.

Authorities later found their bodies at the summit of Bell Mountain, a remote location near the North Carolina border. The tragic discovery has left their family devastated, with relatives strongly rejecting the possibility that the twins were involved in harming each other.

Rahim Brawner, the uncle of the deceased twins, expressed his disbelief over the circumstances surrounding their death. Speaking to local media outlet WXIA-TV, he described the close bond the brothers shared.

“They were very protective of each other. They love each other,” Brawner stated. “I couldn’t imagine them hurting each other because I’ve never seen them get into a fistfight before.”

Similarly, Yasmin Brawner, the boys’ aunt, also voiced her doubts regarding the reported cause of death. She emphasized how inseparable the twins were and insisted that they would never harm each other.

“We know them. They wouldn’t do anything like this,” Yasmin said in an interview. “To say they did this to each other? No. Something happened in those mountains, and we want answers.”

The family is now calling for a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind the tragic loss of the twins. Meanwhile, authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding any potential suspects or further details surrounding their mysterious deaths.
