A heavily pregnant woman has taken to social media to share a heart-wrenching account of repeated assaults allegedly carried out by her husband’s mother, often happening in the presence of both her husband and their children. In a video posted on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), she tearfully recounts her disturbing experiences.
The emotional footage shows the woman in tears as she describes the ongoing abuse she claims to be suffering within her own home. According to her, the assaults are not only physical but also occur regularly in front of her husband and children, with her husband allegedly doing nothing to stop the violence.
In the video, the pregnant woman accuses her mother-in-law of repeatedly attacking her, calling her actions cruel and unjust, particularly given her delicate condition. She mentions that her husband is fully aware of the abuse yet fails to intervene or protect her during these incidents, even when their children are watching the abuse unfold. This silence from her husband has added to her emotional distress and feelings of abandonment.
The video briefly shows a glimpse of the husband’s mother, and viewers witness a heated exchange between both women. At one point, the pregnant woman, visibly distraught, expresses her frustration and vows to hold both her husband and his mother accountable if anything were to happen to her or her unborn child. Her plea for help is both desperate and heartbreaking.
In part of her statement, she can be heard saying: “Is it a crime to be married? She’s telling me to leave my husband’s house. You brought your mother to hit me while I’m pregnant. He’s watching as his mother beats me. If I lose my child, I’ll hold you responsible.”
