A police officer conducting a routine stop-and-search surprised many when he diverted from his duty to woo a young lady he had stopped for questioning.
In a now-viral video circulating on social media, the officer not only searched the lady but also attempted to flirt with her, hugging her and boldly asking to replace her boyfriend.
The incident was captured in a TikTok video, which has since gained massive attention online, drawing mixed reactions from netizens.
According to the footage, the lady was asked to step out of her vehicle as part of the officer’s standard procedure. Initially, he inquired about a camera she had with her, appearing focused on the search.
However, moments later, the officer’s tone shifted, and he started making personal remarks about the lady’s appearance.
While inspecting her, he was heard saying, “I be man, I like what I see. You’re beautiful.” He proceeded to request a hug before asking her, “Do you have a boyfriend? Can I replace him?”
In response, the lady laughed off the situation, making it clear that she was already in a committed relationship and had no interest in entertaining the officer’s request.
The video was later uploaded on social media, where it quickly gained traction. Many users expressed their views in the comment section, with some condemning the officer’s behavior as unprofessional, while others found the situation amusing.
