He explained, “I arrived in London, United Kingdom safely on Sunday, the 2nd of March morning for a busy schedule. I made the trip via Air Peace business class, as is my policy when embarking on long-haul flights, particularly when I have to start work immediately upon arrival.”

Once he arrived in London, Peter Obi traveled to Cambridge for pre-arranged meetings with development experts. These discussions focused on potential solutions to the various challenges confronting Nigeria, with an emphasis on improving the nation’s economic and social conditions. Obi’s participation in these meetings demonstrates his continued dedication to finding ways to address the problems Nigeria faces.

Later in the day, Peter Obi returned to London, where he attended Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s book launch at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. Peter Obi further connected the launch event to his ongoing efforts to address Nigeria’s challenges, saying, “Coupled with my earlier discussions on turning around our struggling nation and the exhilarating performance by @ChimamandaReal, I am convinced that with the energy and brilliance of our youth, a collective commitment, and guidance through good governance, the dream of a better Nigeria is within reach.” He expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future, adding, “I remain confident that all hope is not lost.
