A Nigerian nail technician has gone viral after breaking down in tears when a customer allegedly fled without paying ₦23,500 for nail and lash services.
The incident was detailed in a now-trending TikTok post shared by the nail tech, who uses the handle @shaqeerah_. In the video, she emotionally narrated how a female client and her friend visited her studio to get their nails and lashes done.

During the appointment, the customer not only received full beauty treatment but also allegedly borrowed money from the nail tech to purchase snacks and drinks.
After the session, the customer claimed she had transferred the agreed payment of ₦23,500. However, the nail tech stated that no such transaction was received in her account.
Speaking through tears, she said: “I’ve cried and I’m still crying. She came with her friend, fixed their nails and lashes, and even collected money to buy snacks. She said she sent the money, but I didn’t get anything. Anuoluwapo, God will judge you.”
The video of her emotional breakdown has sparked widespread sympathy and outrage on social media, with many condemning the customer’s alleged behavior and calling for better protections for small business owners.
