A Nigerian couple recently captured the hearts of many after they tied the knot through a virtual traditional wedding ceremony, with the bride participating online from abroad.
Despite being separated by thousands of miles, the determined lovebirds proved that distance is no match for true love. With the bride unable to travel back home for the occasion, they made the bold decision to proceed with the ceremony virtually, using technology to bridge the gap.
In the trending video, the groom is seen elegantly dressed in his traditional attire, seated proudly on the groom’s chair. Interestingly, the chair beside him — usually reserved for the bride — held a portrait of her image instead.
The bride joined the celebration via video call and could be seen dancing joyfully from her remote location, while guests at the wedding venue watched her via live stream.
