A heartbroken Nigerian man, identified as Ibrahim Ahmed Sabana, has taken to social media to share the painful story of betrayal he suffered at the hands of a business associate who allegedly absconded with cement worth N12 million.
According to Ibrahim, the unfortunate event occurred two years ago and has since plunged him into deep financial distress and emotional turmoil.
He narrated the experience in a lengthy Facebook post published on Sunday, May 4, 2025, shortly after receiving news that the said associate had passed away.

In the post, Ibrahim expressed his pain and disappointment, explaining that he had worked with the deceased for over eight years and conducted transactions totaling more than N70 million. However, the betrayal came after he entrusted him with N12 million worth of cement, which the man allegedly took and disappeared with.
Despite Ibrahim’s efforts to recover the money and seek justice, his attempts were met with threats and alleged collusion with the authorities, leaving him helpless.
His heartbreaking post read:
“Alhamdulillah. Today, I received the news of the passing of someone I did business with for over 8 years, transactions totaling over 70 million naira. But two years ago, I gave him cement worth 12 million naira and he vanished.”
“Wallahi, I went through hell. He betrayed my trust, ruined my finances, and left me in deep pain. I tried to pursue justice—even as far as Cameroon—but he connived with the authorities and threatened my life.”
Directing his words to the deceased, Ibrahim continued:
“I will never forgive you. Not for the pain. Not for the betrayal. Not for the money you took and intentionally enjoyed.”
“You may have escaped this world, but you will face what comes next.”
“May you taste the true pain and suffering you caused me until Yawm al-Qiyamah. May Allah’s justice prevail.”
His story has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some expressing sympathy and others debating the morality of cursing the dead.
