Man raises alarm as police officer sells him stolen Hilux.
According to the post, the man initially believed that the purchase of the vehicle was legitimate. However, he later found out that the Hilux was stolen by policemen, with CSP Gerald Chidozie Udechukwu being identified as the person who sold him the stolen vehicle.
In his detailed statement, he wrote: “Nigerians, this policeman, CSP Gerald Chidozie Udechukwu, sold me a Hilux vehicle that was allegedly stolen by policemen. I reported this to the Force PPRO @Princemoye1 and @PoliceNG three months ago, but no action has been taken. @YarKafanchan.”
He further stressed that despite filing reports and reaching out to relevant authorities, no visible progress or intervention has been made to resolve the matter.
The post quickly gained traction on social media, prompting a flood of reactions from concerned users who expressed their opinions and sympathies in the comment section.
Below are some of the reactions shared online:
@Youngdr1903: “This one is another jaw dropping oo. You won’t hear anything again bro because they all have different games each of then runs in dark. So dey will surely keep each other tracks from light.”
@Okpanachi: “You should also post a picture of the Hilux. That’ll greatly help you win.”
@Loula120: “Lesson learned from this very unfortunate ordeal. Trust these people at your own peril!”
@enochusoro: “Not mocking you sir, I just thinking why I’ll buy anything from a Nigerian police officer.”
@the_onbeatable: “Two ways to do this. One, you make up your mind that anything can happen to you, so put your house in order. Then go all the way screaming out in every corner to get justice. If you perish, you perish! Two, you take your loss and run! They have marked you already. Your choice.”
@tolu_of: “As we all know … the @PoliceNG @PoliceNG_CRU always cover up for their own … so no matter what … this man .. he ain’t facing any law .. he is the law .. except he doesn’t have mouth in the force they will publicly dismiss him … but a ranking officer, is always free.”
