Libya returnee breaks down in tears after losing all her life savings and investments, worth over a $1000, in the now-collapsed CBEX ponzi scheme crash.
It would be recalled that the viral digital trading platform, which gained massive attention on social media for its mouth-watering returns, crashed earlier this week, leaving thousands of unsuspecting Nigerians and investors devastated, confused, and in serious financial distress.
A Nigerian lady, identified as Mrs Bola, who happens to be a Libya-returnee, has now shared her heartbreaking experience after the collapse of the scheme, revealing how she had painstakingly hustled in Libya to survive only to be met with this misfortune back home.
According to her narration, she personally invested about $400 in the platform, while some of her friends added theirs as well, bringing the total sum to over a thousand dollars. She noted how the group believed CBEX was a legitimate and fast-paying opportunity, hoping it would help them rebuild their lives after returning from difficult times abroad.
The lady tearfully emphasized the intense suffering she endured as a migrant in Libya, working under harsh conditions to save money, and expressed deep regret over trusting an unverified scheme that ultimately wiped out everything she had labored for.
