Wife seeks divorce from husband just five months after he borrowed a huge sum of money to fund a lavish wedding ceremony, leaving him in financial distress.
The unfortunate incident was narrated by popular content creator Nasco, who detailed how the marriage, which took place in July 2024, collapsed by December of the same year.
According to Nasco, the woman abruptly informed her husband that she no longer felt like she belonged in the marriage and requested a divorce. Initially, the husband believed it was an issue they could resolve, but to his shock, his wife had already made up her mind and moved out shortly after.
Three months later, the woman was spotted in public with another man, further confirming that she had moved on quickly from the marriage.
In his narration, Nasco revealed that the groom had been under intense pressure from his bride to organize a grand and extravagant wedding. To meet her demands, he borrowed a significant amount of money, hoping to make her happy. Unfortunately, after the wedding, the marriage barely lasted a few months before she decided to leave him.
Sharing his frustration over the situation, Nasco advised young men who are planning to get married to ensure that their prospective wives contribute financially to the wedding expenses. He argued that if a woman is truly committed to the marriage, she should be willing to share the financial burden.
