A lady has taken to social media to narrate a disturbing incident where her friend was allegedly robbed after a date with a man she had been talking to for several months. According to the story, her friend suddenly lost all her senses the moment she entered his car and shook his hand, which led to her being robbed of her phone and money. The lady shared the full details of the incident in a long post on the popular social media platform, X, formerly known as Twitter.
The two women had initially met the man in December last year, when they exchanged contacts but had not yet had a chance to meet until February of this year. At first, the man had offered to pick her up from home, but later changed the plan and asked her to meet him at a different location to go to their destination together. The victim, following the new plan, agreed to meet him at a location in Ikeja (ICM), where they had arranged to meet up before heading to a new spot.
Upon her arrival at ICM, the victim called her friend to confirm that she had met him and was about to enter his car. The lady said that was the last communication they received from her until she returned home. According to the victim's account, the moment her friend entered the man's car and shook his hand, she suddenly lost control of her senses and could not understand what was happening. It was later revealed that the man then proceeded to rob her of her phone, money, and other belongings while she was disoriented and unaware of her surroundings.
Her friend continued, saying: "She’s still crying on the bed, and we’re trying to see if we can track her phone, but it’s currently switched off." The robber then drove the victim to a location within Ikeja, took her phones, and forced her to withdraw all the money from her account at a POS stand. After that, the man drove her back to ICM, gave her ₦2,000, told her to get out of the car, and sped off. It was only after he left that the victim regained her senses, realizing what had happened to her during the entire ordeal.
