A Nigerian lady has called out her friend for allegedly planning to take her name to an herbalist after finding out that a man had spent a huge sum of money on her.
She took to her X (formerly Twitter) page to share the shocking revelation, explaining how she discovered the sinister plot and the depth of betrayal by someone she once considered close.
According to her, she met the supposed friend on TikTok, and they quickly formed a bond after she shared a post about her ex-boyfriend taking her to court. The lady in question reached out, seemingly out of concern, and engaged her in a conversation about the issue.
As their conversation progressed, the friend expressed interest in knowing more about the ex-boyfriend. She asked for a photo, but instead of sending an actual picture, the lady sent a screenshot of his profile for privacy reasons.
Unknown to her, the supposed friend took things further by copying the man’s phone number from the screenshot and reaching out to him directly. During their conversation, she found out how much money he had spent on the lady and immediately became furious, accusing her of taking undue advantage of him.
The anger soon took a dark turn when she allegedly advised the ex-boyfriend to drop the legal case and seek spiritual intervention instead. She even went as far as recommending a particular herbalist who, according to her, could make the lady bleed continuously for three months as a form of punishment.
However, what the so-called friend did not realize was that she had been tricked. The lady had provided her with a secondary WhatsApp number instead of her ex-boyfriend’s real contact, allowing her to see the messages firsthand before any potential harm could be done.
In her post, she narrated:
“Yesterday, I was in tears, but now I’m laughing. This is someone I met online, and she always called me her sister. We were really close. When I shared about my baby c-boyfriend taking me to court, she reached out and seemed genuinely interested in my situation.”
“She asked whether she knew the guy, and I told her he wasn’t on TikTok. Then she requested a picture of him. Since I wasn’t comfortable sharing an actual photo, I screenshotted his profile and sent it to her using the one-time-view feature, thinking it was safe. But I never expected what she did next.”
“She used another phone to capture his number from the screenshot and reached out to him behind my back. As soon as he told her how much money he had spent on me, she lost it and began calling me all sorts of names, saying I had no right to accept such an amount from him.”
“She even justified being with a married man and accused me of playing the victim. Then she told him to abandon the court case and opt for spiritual means instead. She said she had spoken to an herbalist who could make me suffer by bleeding for three months. But she didn’t know she was actually chatting with my second WhatsApp number all along.”
The lady went on to express her shock at the level of betrayal and urged people to be careful about those they trust, especially online.
