A Nigerian lady has stirred conversation online after alleging that popular activist, Verydarkman, is currently facing over 40 legal cases. In a viral video that has now garnered significant attention, she criticized his mode of activism, suggesting that his approach is problematic and sends the wrong message to the public.
Recall that Verydarkman was arrested by the EFCC on Friday, May 2, 2025, and has remained in detention since then, with charges related to alleged cyberstalking and financial crimes reportedly being considered.
In the video clip, the lady claimed that Verydarkman has “cases upon cases” with over 40 pending legal matters connected to him. She stressed that if he is indeed fighting for the people as he claims, he must do so in a more structured and constructive manner.
According to her, allowing someone with that many unresolved cases to move around freely without accountability sets a bad example for the average Nigerian citizen and erodes trust in the justice system.
In her words, she said:
“You are fighting for the people, fight constructively. VDM has cases upon cases upon his head, over 40 of them, and you think you can flout and walk up and down and nothing happens to you. What does that register in the minds of average Nigerians?”
