A young lady who identifies as a Christian woman has sparked conversations online after advising her fellow women to prioritize financial stability over early marriage.
In a viral video she shared, Faithful Femininity urged Christian women to avoid getting married in their 20s, especially if they are not financially independent. According to her, marriage should come after a woman has secured multiple sources of income and can comfortably take care of herself.
The young lady emphasized that Christian women should focus on building wealth before settling down, stating that entering a marriage without financial stability is a huge mistake.
Her words: “As a Christian woman, I have decided that my 20s are not for marriage. My 20s are to make money. Christian women, stop entering into marriage so early.”
She further stressed the importance of financial independence before marriage, saying: “Go and make money. You don’t have a dime in your account, yet you’re rushing into marriage. Find a way to build wealth first. Whether in your 20s or 30s, make money first before thinking of marriage.”
Faithful Femininity also criticized some women who focus on getting married without financial preparedness, adding: “Stop following men around. Some of you are participating in Hallelujah Challenge while wearing bridal gowns, yet you have nothing in your account.”
She concluded by reaffirming her personal decision to achieve financial success before considering marriage: “I will not enter a marriage without money. And I’m talking about multiple sources of steady income. I refuse to be the kind of Christian woman that enters her husband’s house empty-handed. God forbid. My 20s are for working hard and making wealth.”
