Israel has issued a strong condemnation of Iran following a series of missile attacks on U.S. military installations in the Middle East, accusing the Islamic Republic of being a “terrorist state” that threatens not only regional peace but global stability.

The Israeli military responded swiftly and decisively on Monday after Iran launched multiple missiles targeting U.S. military bases located in Qatar and Iraq. These attacks were reportedly in retaliation for recent U.S. airstrikes that hit several Iranian nuclear facilities, escalating already high tensions between the countries.

During a nationally televised briefing, Rear Admiral Effie Defrin, spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), stated that Iran’s latest offensive confirmed its role as a destabilizing actor in the international community.

“This latest barrage of missile strikes is further confirmation of Iran’s deep-rooted hostility, regional aggression, and clear intent to cause chaos,” Defrin said. “Iran is not just a threat to Israel; it endangers the broader Middle East and indeed the entire world through its reckless behavior. It is, without question, a terrorist state.”

Israel has been engaged in active military operations against Iranian interests since June 13, when it launched a surprise campaign targeting key Iranian positions across Syria and Lebanon. These strikes were justified by Israel as necessary defensive actions to counter Iranian proxies and weapons shipments in the region.

In a related development, the government of Qatar also expressed outrage over the Iranian missile strikes, especially those aimed at the Al Udeid Air Base — the largest U.S. military installation in the Gulf region. Doha denounced the attacks as a flagrant violation of its national sovereignty and a dangerous act of provocation.

Eyewitness footage circulating on social media showed explosions and missiles lighting up the night sky over Doha, as Qatari air defense systems intercepted some of the projectiles. The scenes have stoked fears of a broader conflict engulfing the region.

Meanwhile, Washington has yet to respond officially to the missile barrage, although military analysts suggest that the Pentagon may increase troop deployments in the Gulf to deter further Iranian aggression.

As tensions soar and accusations fly, diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the crisis appear uncertain. However, Israel continues to press the international community to recognize Iran’s growing threat and take coordinated action to curb its military ambitions and support for extremist groups.
