Expressing her frustration over the complexities of modern dating, she took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to announce her decision. She explained that she is tired of navigating the uncertainties and time-consuming process of getting to know potential partners and has chosen an arranged marriage instead.

According to her, she has granted her mother full authority to handle the talking stage on her behalf and to present her with a suitable partner when the time is right.

Her post read: “I have given my mum the go-ahead to arrange a husband for me. I can’t do it on my own anymore. She can do the talking stage and hand him over when it’s time.”

Further elaborating on her decision, she stated that her mother would likely be more effective in vetting potential suitors. She believes that suitors would be more honest with her mother, and her choice might be more reliable than her own.

“She will vet better; you will be more honest with her. Her choice might actually be the best. I have put out an official letter for them on WhatsApp—they should get to work,” she added.

Her bold approach sparked a wave of reactions on social media, with users sharing their thoughts on arranged marriages and the struggles of modern dating.
