A Nigerian woman identified as Ngozi has shared her perspective with fellow women, advising them to allow another man to get them pregnant if the issue lies with their husband’s inability to conceive. Ngozi took to her Facebook page to express her thoughts on the matter, stating that if she were in a situation where she was medically unable to have children, she would even consider marrying another woman for her husband or brother.
She emphasized that if the problem was on her husband's end, rather than her own, she would suggest getting pregnant by another man as a solution. She wrote, “10 yrs of marriage and no child… Medically certified the fault is from me, I will marry a woman for my husband or support him to marry another and then adopt a child of my own!!”
In a bold statement, she continued, “And if the fault is from my husband, I will suggest getting pregnant by one mgbada or everybody go find their way!!!” She also shared her belief that it would be selfish for someone to withhold the ability to conceive from their spouse, especially when other solutions might be available. According to Ngozi, she would never adopt a child if she could biologically have one herself. She stated, “I think it’s utter selfishness to use your awilo and spoil another person reggae just because of marriage!!!”
She further added, “I will not ADOPT when am sure I can get pregnant and carry my child to full term just because my Spouse is unable to biologically have one!!! I think that’s too much of a sacrifice to make!! Why will I adopt another blood when one of us can make a baby???”
However, she clarified that this opinion only applies to situations where IVF has already failed. Ngozi believes that even in cases of surrogacy, both an egg and sperm are necessary for the process to work, so if either party can’t biologically contribute, it wouldn’t be an option.
“If you really love someone, you would want them to have what you CANNOT GIVE THEM even if it’s from ANOTHER WOMAN OR MAN!!” Ngozi wrote, expressing that love should involve making sacrifices for the person’s happiness, even if it involves unconventional methods.
She concluded her post confidently by saying, “Yes my name is SPONTEXDEBULLDOZER and I chest this opinion with my full bressssssssss makachi!!!”
