A CCTV video has captured the shocking moment a man boldly entered a boutique and stole two iPhones, taking advantage of the fact that both the boutique owner and the sales rep were fast asleep.
The footage, which surfaced online via the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), was posted by user @ChuksEricE and shows the entire incident unfolding inside the boutique.
In the video, the suspect is seen cautiously stepping into the store, briefly surveying his surroundings to ensure the coast was clear. He noticed that the two staff members were deeply asleep and took that as an opportunity to commit the theft.
Without hesitation, he scanned the room for any items of value. He first noticed a mobile phone that was connected to a charger, calmly walked over, and unplugged it.
Not stopping there, the thief carefully moved closer to where the boutique staff were sleeping and spotted another phone resting beside one of them. He picked it up and, without waking anyone, exited the shop.
Throughout the entire ordeal, neither the boutique owner nor the sales rep stirred, completely unaware that a robbery was taking place just inches from them.
Thankfully, the act was captured by the boutique’s CCTV camera, which recorded the suspect’s movements and clearly showed his face, potentially aiding in future identification and arrest.
The video has since gone viral on social media, sparking numerous reactions and debates from users online who expressed their astonishment and concern.
