French football star and former Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba, is now officially eligible to return to professional football as his 18-month doping ban comes to an end today, March 11.

The 31-year-old player had been handed a four-year ban initially, following a positive test for elevated testosterone levels. However, after an appeal, his suspension was reduced to 18 months, allowing him to make an early return to the sport.

Pogba, who last played for Juventus, saw his contract with the Italian giants terminated at the end of 2024, leaving him as a free agent. With his suspension now over, he is actively considering his next move.

According to reports from Gazzetta and Repubblica, the Frenchman is weighing up offers from different leagues, particularly in the MLS and the Saudi Pro League.

Pogba has spent significant time in Miami, leading to speculation that he might be interested in a move to Inter Miami. The club, co-owned by David Beckham, has attracted several high-profile players in recent years, making it a possible destination for the former Manchester United star.

Another potential move could see him join Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia. The club is currently managed by former Juventus director Pavel Nedved, which could provide a familiar environment for Pogba.

While a return to European football appears unlikely at this stage, some sources have suggested that Olympique Marseille could be a possible option. Club director Mehdi Benatia, a former teammate of Pogba, has not ruled out the possibility of signing the midfielder.

Pogba's last competitive full 90-minute match dates back to March 12, 2022, when he played in Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Tottenham at Old Trafford. Since then, injuries and suspension have kept him off the pitch, but with his ban now lifted, fans are eager to see where his career will take him next.
