According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, key figures Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia have each formally informed the club of their intention to leave Old Trafford during the upcoming summer transfer window.
This unexpected development has posed a serious challenge to Manchester United’s pre-season preparations, which are scheduled to kick off next week. It has also cast uncertainty over the club’s planning for the new Premier League campaign as Amorim looks to reshape the squad to match his tactical vision and objectives.
Marcus Rashford, one of United’s longest-serving stars and homegrown talents, is believed to be pushing for a high-profile move to Barcelona. Sources suggest that the 27-year-old forward is prioritizing a switch to the Spanish giants over potential offers from Premier League rivals or other European clubs.
Jadon Sancho, who spent last season on loan at Chelsea, is reportedly in advanced negotiations with Juventus. The Italian club is eager to finalize a permanent deal for the England international winger. United, meanwhile, are understood to be demanding a transfer fee in the region of £25 million as they look to recoup some of their investment.
Antony, who was loaned to Real Betis last season, is also actively exploring a departure. While Betis are interested in retaining the Brazilian attacker, financial constraints could complicate their pursuit.
