Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen has commended England international and star striker Harry Kane following his instrumental role in leading the club to secure the prestigious 2024/25 Bundesliga title, marking a significant milestone in his career.
The championship was mathematically sealed after Bayer Leverkusen dropped points in a draw against Freiburg, thereby handing the title to Bayern Munich and ending the long-running narrative that Kane, despite his stellar goal-scoring records, was incapable of winning major team trophies.
Reacting to the achievement, Dreesen expressed immense admiration for Kane’s impact since joining the German giants last summer, describing the striker as a transformative figure within the squad.
“Harry Kane has shown everyone: he can win titles,” Dreesen stated in an interview with Sky Deutschland, further emphasizing how the prolific forward has risen to the challenge with remarkable consistency and leadership.
He went on to highlight Kane’s impressive goal tally, noting that the Englishman has already amassed 80 goals in total for Bayern Munich, showcasing his elite goal-scoring prowess and crucial role in the team’s attacking force.
Kane, who has scored 36 goals this season across all competitions — including 24 in the Bundesliga — is currently leading the race for the German Golden Boot, reaffirming his status as one of Europe’s most lethal strikers.
