Air Peace slammed over crew’s attitude on ₦235k flight
Posted by badgeBusayo on 0

A Nigerian lady recently took to social media to share her deeply unpleasant experience with a cabin crew member while traveling from Abuja to Lagos on a flight operated by Air Peace. According to her, she spent a staggering ₦235,000 on the flight, only to have her entire mood ruined by what she described as poor customer service and unprofessional behavior from the crew. She explained that this incident overshadowed her whole journey, leaving her frustrated and disappointed despite her high expectations for the flight.

In her detailed social media post, she narrated how she had politely requested more water during the flight after receiving only a small cup, which she felt was insufficient, especially since many other airlines routinely provide passengers with bottled water. She recounted that when she asked for a refill, the cabin crew member responded curtly, insisting that she should say, “Excuse me, I need a refill,” instead of simply asking directly. This, according to the lady, was unnecessary and made her feel deeply disrespected as a paying customer who expected to be treated courteously.

She emphasized that the tone and attitude of the crew member were completely uncalled for and contributed significantly to ruining what was supposed to be a pleasant flight experience. “This language messed up my mood throughout the journey yesterday,” she lamented, expressing how such interactions can impact a passenger’s overall travel experience and perception of the airline.

Furthermore, she revealed that she regretted not reporting the incident directly to Air Peace’s CEO, Allen Onyema, who, as fate would have it, was aboard the same flight. She mentioned that it would have been a perfect opportunity for the CEO to witness firsthand the kind of attitude some of his staff exhibit towards customers, which she believes tarnishes the airline’s reputation. “Yes, he was very disappointed about his crew’s cabin attitude, but at least when passengers are complaining about your cabin crew attitudes, he will be able to identify the ones giving his airline a bad name,” she wrote in her post.

See some reactions below:

@Triggerx09: “Bro, from the moment you mentioned the price of your ticket, I already sensed you might be the proud type and possibly spoke in a condescending manner. Even on international flights, if you don’t ask politely, they might refuse your request for extras. They don’t owe you a refill by default.”

@agbagiSultan: “Why would any airline be serving water in cups at all? It makes no sense when they can simply give each passenger a small bottle of water like other airlines do.”

@UchayOkolee: “I still can’t understand why Air Peace doesn’t give each passenger a bottle of water. That small cup they use is so annoying. And considering how expensive their tickets are, it’s just unacceptable. Next time, I’ll probably just carry my own bottle of water on board.”

@edeanayo12: “You can still take this matter up and push for an official apology. No passenger deserves such rude and unprofessional treatment, regardless of the amount paid.”

@AghaMmaghiri: “Lol, I wouldn’t be surprised if you actually spoke down to the cabin crew just because you paid ₦235k. Some passengers develop an entitlement mentality once they spend that kind of money.”

@Janda_Samuel: “There are just too many bad reviews about @flyairpeace these days. I’d honestly rather fly Sosoliso, even if it means risking a crash. At least Stella chose them for a reason.”
