Popular Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has addressed a trending video that has caught the attention of many social media users, in which an elderly woman was seen giving her a cold and disapproving stare during the wedding ceremony of Priscilla Ojo and her Tanzanian husband.
The video, which has since gone viral, captured Wumi Toriola enjoying herself at the star-studded wedding event and posing for photographs with other guests. However, one particular moment in the video sparked curiosity among viewers. As Wumi posed for pictures, an older woman appeared to give her a disapproving look, and, as some have pointed out, the woman seemed to intentionally ignore her presence altogether.

She noted that some viewers sometimes struggle to separate the fictional roles she portrays on screen from her actual personality. “She saw me and paused. I thought maybe her eyelashes entered her eyes or something, but she was just giving me this condescending look,” Wumi continued. “Whatever you think about me will go back to your children. God knows I don’t know you.”
