Olawunmi Aloba, [/b]wife of late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, has opened up about the immense turmoil she has faced following the tragic and untimely passing of her husband.
Gistreel recalls that Mohbad tragically passed away on September 12, 2023, leaving an irreplaceable void in Nigeria’s entertainment industry and causing widespread grief among fans, friends, and loved ones.
Despite a series of court hearings, numerous trials, and extensive police investigations, the exact circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death remain unclear, with his body still unburied as authorities continue their probe.
In a recent interview, Wunmi shared heartbreaking details about her husband’s passing, emphasizing that she cannot find it in her heart to forgive the nurse who administered the fatal injection to him.
According to Wunmi, the nurse in question is expected to face an inquest scheduled for March 14, 2025. She expressed deep frustration, revealing that the nurse has shown no remorse for her actions.
“She made me a widow. She has been living her life nonchalantly, as if nothing happened. I really don’t know if the injection my husband was given was a mistake,” she stated, struggling to hold back tears.
Providing more context, Wunmi explained that the nurse had been called to administer medical care to Mohbad only because his personal nurse was unavailable at that moment.
She further disclosed that the nurse was recommended by a close associate, unaware of the tragic consequences that would follow. She lamented that her son, Liam, has been denied the joy of childhood due to the loss of his father.
“If I see the nurse face to face, the only thing I will tell her is that she will experience everything she has done to me,” she added, expressing her pain and anguish.
