Popular media personality, Radiogad, has spoken out regarding the recent arrest of Verydarkman, offering his perspective on the situation and cautioning against the idea of fighting for the Nigerian youth. Radiogad believes the incident should serve as a stern reminder for those who might aspire to become a "Nigerian Messiah" by standing up for the nation’s youth.
Gistreel recalls that the EFCC reportedly arrested the controversial activist, sparking widespread discussion and concern about the treatment of social media critics in Nigeria.

In a video posted online, Radiogad opined that Verydarkman’s arrest should be a wake-up call for anyone who intends to fight for the betterment of Nigerian youths, calling attention to what he perceives as a deeply ingrained selfishness among the youth.
Radiogad stated that if the Nigerian youth were not as selfish as they are often perceived, they would have come together to demand the release of Verydarkman, flooding the offices of GTBank and the EFCC to protest his detention. According to him, this lack of collective action highlights the disconnection between the people and the causes they claim to support.
He went on to say, “Verydarkman’s arrest should be a wake-up call to anybody wey decide say e wan be Nigerian Messiah. Nigerian youths na very selfish people. If na better people una be, una for don flood all the GTBank offices dey protest for Verydarkman. All of una for don full all the offices of EFCC for Nigeria dey shout ‘Free Verydarkman.’”
