A vendor has publicly accused popular Nigerian singer, Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, better known as Zlatan, of owing her a significant amount of ₦510,000. The accusation was made in a post shared on her page via X (formerly Twitter), where she took the opportunity to call the singer out over the unpaid debt. The post quickly garnered attention, with the vendor sharing her frustration about her unsuccessful attempts to reach Zlatan through different platforms.
In the post, the vendor openly addressed Zlatan, writing: “Zlatan, you are owing me ₦510k. I’ve tried texting you on Snapchat and Instagram, but you haven’t replied.” She further added more details in her post, tagging the singer’s official handle, @Zlatan_Ibile, so as to get his attention. She continued, “If you are seeing this, please, I’m the girl that sold something at your clothing pop-up party in Cape Town. Please try and pay, I have bills to pay.” The vendor’s plea was filled with urgency, stressing that she was struggling with her financial obligations and was depending on the money she was owed to cover her expenses.
Despite the vendor's public appeal and multiple attempts to contact the singer on social media platforms, Zlatan has yet to respond to her claims at the time of this report. The situation has sparked conversations on social media, as many followers have expressed concern over the lack of response from the artist, with some expressing sympathy for the vendor's financial predicament.
