Popular activist, VDM, has strongly criticized well-known actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh, for throwing subtle jabs at celebrity businessman, Cubana Chief Priest, amidst his ongoing DNA controversy with his alleged Kenyan baby mama.
Recently, social media has been buzzing with heated debates over the DNA dispute between Cubana Chief Priest and his alleged baby mama, Hellen Ati, who claims that he is the father of her child. The public has been divided on the issue, with some demanding that a paternity test be conducted, while others argue that the allegations might be baseless.
Actress Tonto Dikeh took to her social media page to express her thoughts on the matter. She noted that, in the past, it was often women who were seen avoiding DNA tests, yet now it seems that some men are the ones hesitant to take the test. Her post subtly hinted at the ongoing controversy surrounding Cubana Chief Priest.
She wrote: “I was under the impression that it was women who were supposed to be avoiding DNA tests, so why are men the ones running now? The irony is unreal.”
Reacting to Tonto Dikeh’s statement, VDM asserted that her comment was a direct shade at Cubana Chief Priest. He accused the actress and other female activists of hypocrisy, referencing the case of late singer Mohbad’s widow, where many women—including Tonto Dikeh—stood against the suggestion of conducting a DNA test on Mohbad’s son, Liam.
VDM strongly criticized what he described as selective activism, questioning why the same individuals who defended Mohbad’s widow against DNA testing are now subtly calling out Cubana Chief Priest.
He said, “This shot is directed at Cubana Chief Priest 100%. Tonto Dikeh, let’s make this easy. I remember when we were asking for Mohbad’s wife to do a DNA test, all of you said it was her choice and that she should only do it if she decides. So, since Tonto Dikeh wants to go this route, let’s make it easy.”
VDM further stated that he is still willing to cover all expenses for Mohbad’s wife to undergo a DNA test. He proposed flying her to Abuja, covering hotel accommodations at Hilton for her, her lawyer, and Mohbad’s family members. He emphasized that once the test is conducted, the truth would finally be revealed to the public.
His remarks have sparked mixed reactions online, with some agreeing with his point of view while others argue that each case should be treated separately.
