Tolani Danger, a Nigerian lady who was deeply involved in substance abuse and abandoned by her family to live on the streets, has shared a powerful story of transformation after being rescued and rehabilitated by Pastor Tony Rapu.
A video that once circulated on social media captured Tolani's dire situation while living in a Lagos ghetto. At that time, she was heavily addicted to drugs and appeared disheveled, wearing torn and ragged clothes as she wandered aimlessly.
After the video went viral, Pastor Dr. Tony Rapu took it upon himself to intervene, stepping in to rescue her and bring her to a rehabilitation center where she could begin her journey of recovery.
Now, two months later, and after a complete recovery, Tolani Danger—who is now simply called Tolani—recounted the journey of her transformation.
She shared that she is now free from addiction and has never felt happier in her life. She expressed gratitude to Pastor Tony Rapu for rescuing her from the depths of despair and helping her reclaim her life.
Tolani also shared how finding Christ has brought new meaning to her life. She mentioned that her character, emotions, and even her facial expressions have changed. She said, “I’ve changed, character-wise, my emotions, my facial expressions. As you can see, the glory of God is written all over me…”
