Popular TikTok personality, Peller, recently shared an interesting and somewhat shocking experience that took place at the lavish wedding ceremony of Priscilla Ojo, daughter of famous Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo. During a live conversation with fellow content creator Sandra, Peller opened up about how much they spent on Asoebi attire for the event, and it left many fans stunned.
It would be recalled that Peller and his close friend, Jarvis, had turned up in grand style to attend the celebrity wedding between Priscilla Ojo and her partner Jux. The event, which was held at a prestigious venue in Lagos, saw a star-studded guest list, top influencers, and notable celebrities gracing the occasion in various shades of glamorous Asoebi outfits.
According to Peller, while having a live streaming chat with Sandra, he narrated how he had completely forgotten about purchasing the Asoebi fabric meant for the wedding. It was only at the last minute, after placing a call, that he realized how late it was, and how expensive the material had become as the event drew closer.
Peller disclosed that his friend Jarvis ended up paying close to N300,000 for just two yards of the Asoebi material. He explained that the exorbitant price was unexpected, and due to the limited quantity, Jarvis had no choice but to creatively add other fabrics to complete the outfit she eventually wore to the highly anticipated wedding ceremony.
The TikTok star added that many other guests must have faced similar struggles, though no one publicly admitted the actual price they paid for the Asoebi. He subtly hinted at how celebrity events often come with hidden costs that only a few attendees are willing to speak about.
