Nigerian singer and social media personality, Speed Darlington, has publicly accused controversial street-hop artist Portable of allegedly using juju (native charms) during their much-talked-about celebrity boxing match, which recently took place before an eager online audience.
In a video clip currently circulating on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Speed Darlington expressed frustration over how the fight unfolded, insisting that his shoulder mysteriously got dislocated in the middle of the match — even though, according to him, he wasn’t physically exhausted at the time.
The artist suggested that Portable may have brought traditional charms, commonly referred to as juju, into the boxing ring as a means of securing an unfair advantage against him, a claim that has since ignited conversations online.
The highly anticipated celebrity boxing match ended with Portable emerging as the winner, and shortly after, footage surfaced showing Speed Darlington’s arm being bandaged while he appeared visibly distressed.
His remarks, paired with the circulating video evidence, sparked numerous reactions from fans and followers, many of whom have taken to various comment sections to either dismiss his claims or poke fun at the situation.
Some netizens argued that the entertainer was merely making excuses for his defeat, while others humorously sided with the singer, acknowledging how entertaining the entire ordeal has become on social media.
