Popular streamer, Peller has shared his candid thoughts on the current state of the skit-making industry, claiming that it is no longer a profitable venture for many creators.
During a live session with his fans on TikTok, Peller explained that numerous skit makers are now facing financial hardship and have begun transitioning from platforms like Instagram to TikTok in search of better opportunities.
According to Peller, many creators who once thrived by posting skits on Instagram are now struggling to survive due to the declining returns on content. He emphasized that most of them have turned to TikTok to host live streams, where there are better chances of earning through audience engagement and digital gifts.

“You see any content creator for Instagram wey still dey post skit? E no dey pay. All of them don come TikTok. We are doing live video together, can you see. Hunger is killing everybody. Hunger is killing a lot of Instagram people. When last you see say person post funny Instagram skit…”
