Popular media personality, Radiogad, has raised an alarm after allegedly receiving threats from Nigerian music star Davido following his criticism of the singer’s upcoming album.
It would be recalled that Radiogad had taken to his Instagram page to share his opinion after listening to a snippet of Davido’s upcoming album, expressing his strong disapproval of the project.
In his criticism, Radiogad advised Davido to quit music and venture into tailoring instead, as he described the album as “wack.” His remarks quickly went viral, sparking mixed reactions from fans and followers.
Following his post, Radiogad claimed that Davido reached out to him privately, sending him messages that he perceived as threats to his safety and that of his family.
In a series of posts, the media personality revealed a chat where Davido allegedly warned him to keep his name off his platform and stop making negative comments about him. According to Radiogad, the singer issued a stern warning and hinted at serious consequences if he continued his criticisms.
Expressing concern over the situation, Radiogad stated that if anything were to happen to him or his loved ones, Davido should be held responsible. He insisted that as a social commentator, he has the right to express his views on public figures without fear of intimidation.
