Media personality, Destiny Ezeyin, popularly known as Radiogad, has made a surprising U-turn after initially criticizing award-winning music star Davido over a snippet from his upcoming album, 5ive.
Radiogad had earlier taken to social media to lash out at the Grammy-nominated singer, advising him to retire from music and consider taking up tailoring instead. His comments sparked mixed reactions among netizens, with some agreeing while others defended Davido’s consistency in the industry.
However, in a dramatic turn of events, Radiogad has now retracted his statements and is showering praises on Davido, calling him one of the hardest-working musicians in the industry. This sudden change in attitude comes after Davido reportedly reached out to him via direct message.
In his latest video, Radiogad clarified that despite his earlier remarks, he has always been a loyal fan of Davido and his 30BG crew. He explained that his initial criticism was merely a strategy to grab the singer’s attention, which ultimately worked.
According to him, after listening to the 5ive album snippet again, he realized that it was the best music he had ever heard from Davido. He went on to express his excitement for the full album release, promising to be among the first fans to stream it once it drops.
