Nigerian influencer and socialite Priscilla Ojo, who now goes by the name Priscy Mkambala following her marriage, has once again stirred reactions on social media after sharing a romantic video with her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.
Priscy, who recently embraced Islam as part of her transition into her husband’s culture and faith, posted a heartwarming video of their beach outing, showcasing moments of love and affection.
In the video, the couple can be seen walking hand in hand along the shoreline, enjoying playful moments together, with Juma Jux giving Priscy a piggyback ride. The couple also exchanged affectionate kisses, further igniting discussions online.
While many fans admired the deep bond between the couple, others raised concerns regarding the timing of the public display of affection, particularly as it comes during the holy month of Ramadan.
As a recent convert to Islam, Priscy had earlier shared her new Muslim name, Hadiza Mkambala, which she adopted after her marriage, following the customary tradition of women taking a new name when joining a Muslim family.
Some social media users questioned whether she was observing the Ramadan fast, given that Islam places emphasis on modesty and spiritual devotion during this period. Others, however, defended her, stating that love and companionship in marriage should not be a cause for criticism.
