Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has publicly criticized social media critic Verydarkman over claims that he would feature him in a diss track aimed at gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.
This development follows Mercy Chinwo’s legal action against Verydarkman, where she filed a ₦1.1 billion defamation lawsuit against him. The lawsuit has sparked reactions online, and in response, Verydarkman revealed his intention to release a diss track, allegedly featuring Portable.
Portable, however, has distanced himself from the controversy, making it clear that he has no involvement in any diss track against the gospel artist. He also took the opportunity to caution Verydarkman against making defamatory statements about people on social media.
Expressing his displeasure, Portable addressed Verydarkman directly, saying:
“Very the dark brain, stop talking about me. You defame people online, everyone with grace, by coming for everyone. You are saying you will feature me, do you have ₦100M?”
His reaction has since gained traction across social media platforms, with many netizens praising him for refusing to be dragged into the ongoing dispute. Others also commended his stance against defamatory online practices.
