Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, widely known by his stage name Portable, has reportedly been arrested by the Nigeria Police, stirring reactions online.
In a video currently making the rounds on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Portable was seen inside a vehicle, surrounded by several uniformed officers as he pleaded for calm while addressing those nearby about the situation leading to his arrest.
According to the singer, a petition had been filed against him from Ilorin, Kwara State, which he suspects to be the primary reason for his detainment. Details of the petition and its specific allegations have yet to be made public as of press time.
