Drama continues to unfold in Nollywood as fast-rising actress, Porsh Precious, has openly accused her former friend and colleague, Chinelo Rita, of betrayal and malicious acts, officially ending their 7-year-long friendship.
This development comes shortly after Chinelo Rita publicly called out fellow actress Ruby Ojiakor for not sending her condolences following the death of her sister.
In a series of emotional Instagram posts, Porsh Precious recounted her painful experience in 2024 when she was severely ill and in desperate need of financial help to cover her medical expenses.
She revealed that during this vulnerable period, instead of receiving support, Chinelo Rita took advantage of her situation to spread false stories and badmouth her to mutual friends. Porsh claimed that Chinelo actively tried to ruin her image and sabotage her brand, which she had worked so hard to build over the years.
“It was like she was waiting for the perfect moment to pull me down completely. She went behind my back to all the friends I introduced her to, saying terrible things about me, and trying to destroy the good name and brand I have painstakingly built,” Porsh Precious stated in her post.
The actress explained that she is still in the process of healing from the emotional wounds and has left the matter to God for judgment. She expressed her disappointment and heartbreak over losing someone she had considered a close friend and confidant for many years.
In addition to her personal revelations, Porsh Precious used the opportunity to advise Chinelo to stop attacking Ruby Ojiakor online and instead focus on grieving her sister peacefully. She encouraged Chinelo to pay attention to those who showed her love and support during her difficult time, rather than dragging those who did not publicly reach out.
“Instead of you to mourn your sister in peace, you are dragging someone online. Focus on those who stood by you and sympathized with you, and leave those that didn’t,” she emphasized strongly.
