One-half of the defunct P-Square music group, Peter Okoye, has once again sparked public attention by calling out his brothers, Paul Okoye and Jude Okoye, accusing them of betrayal and deliberate defamation amidst their ongoing legal battle.
In a fiery post shared via his Instagram Story, Peter reacted to a recent courtroom statement allegedly made by Jude Okoye’s legal team, which claimed that Peter had lied in a document submitted to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The matter revolves around a dispute involving the brothers and royalty-related earnings.

Visibly upset, the music star accused his brothers’ publicist of trying to manipulate public perception and cast him as dishonest. He warned that unlike others previously involved with the Okoye family, such as May D and Cynthia Morgan, he would not stay silent or play the "mature" role any longer.
“Exactly what I was talking about: their publicist doing everything for me to look like a liar. I am not May D or Cynthia Morgan; I am Peter Okoye, the one and only, the rock/okwute of the Okoyes. The truth shall surely prevail. Una thief abi una no thief?” he wrote in a passionate post.
He further stated that the case of late singer Mohbad opened his eyes, making him realize the importance of speaking out. According to Peter, watching the events surrounding Mohbad’s death convinced him to always stand for the truth, regardless of familial ties.
“After watching everything about Mohbad’s death and how the whole thing played out to date, I decided I would never play the bigger person nor act as the mature one. And that’s exactly what led to this whole madness. Simply because I was trying to be the bigger person! Omo! Never again,” he said.
Peter Okoye also made a shocking revelation regarding the widely celebrated November 2021 P-Square reunion. He claimed he felt “used” during the reunion process and that he now sees it as a manipulation effort rather than a genuine family reconnection.
“Only to find out that I was actually used in the whole November 2021 reunion! But since we are in court, I will wait for the right time to tell what really went down. Family doesn’t steal from family. Una thief abi una no thief?”

Peter’s emotional outburst has reignited conversations across social media platforms, with many fans expressing disappointment over the ongoing feud within the Okoye family. While some fans sympathize with his pain, others hope for a peaceful resolution between the once inseparable music brothers.
