Renowned Nigerian streamer, Peller, has shared the details of his encounter with controversial Nigerian singer Portable after he advised him to stop posting ritualistic content online. The interaction was revealed during a live streaming session with his fans, where Peller opened up about what transpired between the two.
Peller explained that on one Sunday morning, he came across a video on Instagram featuring Portable engaging in what he described as “ritualist activities,” a type of content that Peller believed was inappropriate to post online. He immediately decided to take action by leaving a comment under the video, advising Portable to stop sharing such content for his own good and to avoid further problems. However, things took a quick turn as Portable did not take kindly to the advice and promptly blocked Peller on Instagram.
In return, Peller reciprocated by blocking Portable on TikTok, where he had also been active. Reflecting on the incident, Peller humorously recounted, "Portable wey me and am don block ourselves. He block me for Instagram, I block am for TikTok." He further revealed that, the following morning, he found Portable's ritualistic post on Instagram again. “I wake up Monday morning, I go Instagram. First post wey I dey see na ritualist post, and I tell am for comment say see e no go good if I block you oo, him come block me, I block am for TikTok,” he shared. Peller expressed his dissatisfaction with the kind of content being shared online, especially on a platform meant for positive engagement, and stressed his discomfort with seeing such ritualistic posts just after attending church services. “I no love wetin you dey post, I don tell am be that,” he stated.
This exchange led to mixed reactions online, with netizens sharing their thoughts on the matter. Below are some of the comments from followers who took to social media to react to the story:

Most of these little ones don’t even know our history anymore. We better go back before we lose all our heritage”
