UK-based Nigerian pastor, Tobi Adegboyega, has recently disclosed that he has been diagnosed with cancer and has been privately managing the illness for several months.
In a heartfelt video message addressed to his congregation, the founder of the Nxtion Family (previously known as Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church) courageously shared details about his cancer diagnosis and the major surgery he underwent as part of his treatment.
[p>“I was diagnosed with cancer. Yes, you heard me right. I have been quietly battling cancer for the past few months, or perhaps even longer. I just went through a major surgery, which is why I am unable to be present with you today,” he revealed candidly.
[p>The pastor reflected on his journey, describing surviving the illness as a powerful sign from God, stating:
[p>“I have fought the battle, and I believe that God has granted me the verdict to continue living, to step into a new level and a new stage of life.”
[p>Demonstrating his commitment to supporting others affected by similar challenges, Pastor Adegboyega generously donated £100,000 to initiatives aimed at raising cancer awareness and providing treatment support for young people.
His public announcement has triggered an outpouring of sympathy and prayers across social media platforms, with numerous Nigerians expressing their heartfelt wishes for his full recovery and continued strength.
This revelation comes on the heels of other significant developments in Pastor Adegboyega’s life, including his recent loss in an appeal related to a £1.87 million fraud case and ongoing efforts to prevent his deportation from the UK.
