The founder of the Trinity House, Lagos, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo has addressed the rumor about getting married to actress, Kate Henshaw. This comes after weeks of speculations about the two, which have caught the attention of many fans and the media. Pastor Ighodalo has now made it clear that the reports about his supposed wedding plans with the popular Nollywood actress are far from the truth. The rumors of a potential marriage started circulating when certain reports hinted that Kate Henshaw was planning to walk down the aisle with Pastor Ighodalo, five years after the death of his wife, Ibidunni Ighodalo.

Recall that it was rumored that Kate Henshaw was planning to walk down the aisle with Pastor Ituah Ighodalo five years after the departure of his wife. This sparked a lot of gossip and confusion, especially with the timing of the rumors, as it came right after the tragic loss of his late wife. The speculation seemed to gain traction after a controversial blogger, Gistlover, hinted on their page that there might be something romantic going on between the actress and Pastor Ighodalo. The rumor further suggested that Kate might be having an affair with the husband of her late friend, a claim that stirred up a lot of emotions and reactions from the public.

Pastor Ighodalo addressed the marriage rumor while speaking with media personality Osayuwamen Saleh on Upgradetv. During the interview, the clergyman clarified the situation, and in no uncertain terms, denied the claims that he was planning to marry Kate Henshaw. He made it known that he has no intentions of remarrying anyone at the moment and expressed his dissatisfaction with how rumors were allowed to spread unchecked. He even jokingly called for the blogger who originally spread the rumors to pay a tithe from the views and money they had garnered from the fake news.

Speaking about his plans to remarry, he stated that he has no plans of remarrying anyone, while asking that the blogger who broke the news should pay a tithe of the money generated from views he got from spreading the fake news. He emphasized that the rumors were not only false but were also damaging to both his own reputation and that of the actress involved. Pastor Ighodalo clarified that he would rather focus on his work and the responsibilities he has as a leader in his church, rather than indulging in the spread of gossip.

He further added that he doesn’t know what the future holds for him, hence he cannot tell if he will remarry in the future or not. He mentioned that while he has no intentions of marrying again at the present time, he was not completely ruling out the possibility for the future. The clergyman acknowledged that life has a way of changing, and no one can truly predict the future, but for now, he remains focused on his ministry and personal healing after the loss of his wife.

The clergy stated that his late wife’s spirit still follows him everywhere he goes, and he loved her dearly before her death. He reflected on the deep bond he shared with his late wife, Ibidunni, and emphasized that she would always hold a special place in his heart. He shared how much of an impact she had on his life and how, despite her passing, her spirit continues to guide and support him in his life and ministry. Pastor Ighodalo conveyed that while he continues to honor the memory of his wife, he is also committed to leading his church and helping others in their spiritual journeys.
