Popular Yoruba actress, Omotoyosi Jaiyesimi, has publicly called out her colleague, Lizzy Anjorin, after the latter took to social media to throw subtle jabs believed to be aimed at fellow actress Iyabo Ojo.
A few hours ago, Lizzy Anjorin shared a cryptic post on her page, targeting an unnamed individual whom she accused of harboring bitterness over her 2020 wedding. Although she didn’t directly mention any names, many netizens quickly speculated that her comments were directed at her longtime industry rival, Iyabo Ojo.
In a now-viral video circulating across social media platforms, Lizzy Anjorin went on to claim that the unnamed person made several attempts to destroy her marriage and her husband’s reputation. She alleged that this person even went as far as leaking her husband’s nude photos and spreading false rumours about his death, which stirred reactions from fans and followers online.
Following this outburst from Lizzy, a majority of social media users concluded that the jabs were indirectly targeted at Iyabo Ojo, given the pair’s long history of clashes and public confrontations within the entertainment industry.
Reacting to the drama, actress Omotoyosi Jaiyesimi expressed her displeasure at Lizzy Anjorin’s continuous attacks, particularly as it relates to Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo. Omotoyosi called out Lizzy for unnecessarily dragging Priscilla into the matter and for comparing her own wedding to that of the much younger Priscilla, whom she implied Lizzy was old enough to have given birth to.
In a strongly-worded post, Omotoyosi Jaiyesimi stated, “I don’t put mouth in what doesn’t concern me but this is getting too much, Lizzy Anjorin. Imagine comparing your wedding to a child you can birth? This is absolutely unnecessary and out of line.”
Her reaction has since drawn support from fans and other celebrities, who agree that the feud has gone on for too long and should no longer involve innocent individuals like Priscilla Ojo.
