A lady narrated a dramatic moment from the Ojude Oba Festival 2025, revealing how she was almost injured when a woman struck her phone with a hand fan while she was trying to record her during the colorful event.
According to the video shared by the lady identified as @thateventgirl5, she was admiring and recording a confident, fashionably dressed woman who was walking gracefully through the crowd, flanked by a bodyguard providing security.
While she was innocently filming the moment, the elegant woman noticed the camera and, seemingly displeased with being recorded without permission, suddenly swung her hand fan and hit the lady’s phone in an effort to stop the recording.
In her words, she explained what happened, saying,
“This woman nearly fall my friend’s phone ooo and I meant no harm now(,acting like my ex mom)🤣 I was recording this beautiful woman when she angrily used her fan to hit the phone and the phone nearly hit my eyes because I held the phone very close to me and I meant no harm o🤣 imagine the phone fall and the screen break, how I go te explain??? 😔 But she later smiled at me because I complimented her 😊 😂.”
The lady emphasized that the phone was so close to her face that the unexpected hit almost injured her eye. She was only trying to capture a beautiful moment from the festival and meant no disrespect or invasion of privacy.
Despite the brief confrontation, the mood eventually lightened as the woman smiled back after receiving a compliment from the lady about her elegant look and presence at the festival.
