Controversial Nigerian preacher Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje has openly called out President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accusing him of forcefully taking power rather than being chosen by God.
Speaking during a prophetic service at his church, Odumeje condemned the current administration and warned that divine judgment awaits leaders who ascend to power without God’s approval.
In his sermon, Prophet Odumeje declared;
“The government of Nigeria that Tinubu is in charge of right now; he should be very careful because the anger of God is too much upon this nation. Tinubu is not the one God selected to lead Nigeria. He imposed himself upon the people to become president. And that is why he has nothing to offer and can never bring meaningful progress to Nigeria.”

The controversial clergyman further urged Nigerians to carefully observe the silence of religious leaders who refuse to address the challenges and hardship the citizens are enduring under the current administration.
He advised followers to leave any church where the pastor is not condemning the oppression and suffering inflicted on Nigerians by the government, stating that the silence of religious leaders is equally enabling injustice.
“If your pastor is not standing up to speak against the wickedness of the government, leave that church immediately. Because every soul in Nigeria today is crying of hunger. A handful of individuals and their families are enjoying the wealth of the nation while the majority suffer. These leaders are moving about the world, treating Nigerians as fools,” he stated.
Odumeje’s remarks have since gone viral on social media, sparking mixed reactions from the public, with some commending his boldness while others criticized his approach.
Meanwhile, as debates around the country’s leadership intensify, many Nigerians have continued to express their grievances over the rising cost of living, economic instability, and general insecurity that has plagued the nation since the beginning of the Tinubu administration.
