Popular Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has officially confirmed her breakup with her partner Xxssive, putting an end to weeks of speculation regarding the status of their relationship.
The confirmation came after Nkechi shared a cryptic Instagram story post that hinted at her return to singlehood. In the post, she wrote about how “sweet it is to be single again,” sparking online buzz and fan curiosity about her love life.
In a follow-up video posted to her social media page, the actress addressed the rumors directly, stating emphatically that she is no longer in a relationship. With raw emotion and a clear desire to set the record straight, Nkechi explained that she has been single for some time now, despite online assumptions linking her to Xxssive.
“I am seeing comments on my previous post that I japa? I am out here for a month and two weeks. Some of una no dey pay attention, the only area you are interested in is when I talk about a man, which I have not done for some months and that is because I am very single and unavailable,” she stated in the video.
The actress expressed her frustration over the public’s obsession with her personal life and firmly declared that she is currently not open to romantic relationships. She emphasized that she had refrained from posting about her love life for months, precisely because she was no longer in one.
