Nigerians have taken their protest against GTBank and the EFCC to another level by releasing a diss track following the controversial arrest of popular online activist, VeryDarkMan.
The audio track, which quickly gained attention after surfacing on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), voices the outrage of supporters who believe the arrest was unjustified and targeted.

Initial reports alleged that VeryDarkMan was arrested inside a GTBank branch in Abuja, where he had accompanied his mother to lodge a complaint over suspicious deductions from her account.
However, CCTV footage later debunked those claims, revealing that the arrest occurred outside the bank premises. The video shows that he had already stepped out of the bank before being confronted and taken away by unidentified officials.
Although the arresting agency has not been officially confirmed, many speculate that the EFCC may be involved. The silence from both GTBank and the EFCC has further fueled public frustration and distrust.
In response, outraged supporters of VeryDarkMan have taken to both the streets and digital platforms. Many are calling for mass account closures at GTBank as a form of protest and demanding accountability and transparency from the authorities involved.
