In the clip, V.ic revealed that he spends between N750,000 to N800,000 weekly just to keep up with his lifestyle and responsibilities. According to him, this amount covers his general expenses and also includes giveaways to fans and people reaching out for assistance.

V.ic lamented about the harsh reality in the country, questioning how Nigerians without a steady source of income are surviving. He highlighted the rising cost of food and basic necessities, stating that even gari, traditionally considered an affordable meal, has now become a luxury.

“Even gari wey be poor man food don turn luxury. How does the poor mass survive?” he questioned, stressing the gravity of the situation. He noted that despite spending a lot, he doesn’t have tangible assets to show for it. He further explained, “Where I stay on the Island, I spend not less than N700k. There is nothing I can show for the money I spend. But by the end of the week, about N700K or N800K is gone.”

The music talent went on to talk about the numerous messages he receives daily from fans seeking help, especially as the economic conditions worsen. “I always get messages from my fans, and billing messages. Even this morning I spent not less than N100K because of the giveaway,” he added.
