The troll, in a highly insensitive comment, insinuated that because Mo Bimpe was not yet pregnant, her husband would soon take another wife. Ifedolapo wrote: “Pregnant, you no get, no worry your husband go soon take another wife.” This comment was a clear jab at the couple’s personal life and choices.
Mo Bimpe, however, did not let the comment slide. She responded assertively, saying that people like Ifedolapo are only emboldened when their negative comments go unchecked. She explained that if trolls are not held accountable, they would continue spreading their unsolicited opinions. In her response, Mo Bimpe stated, “If someone hasn’t be treated as a scape goat, you guys won’t rest, yeah.” With this statement, she made it clear that she would not tolerate baseless remarks about her personal life and was willing to speak up when necessary.
